So we already have some solid news about where the new 1.05.5 patch is heading, but no one was really expecting this...a fully revamped Dark Templar? (its a long time coming!)
This class has been considered weakest class since launch in all aspects of the game, but this patch could very well change this. Latest reports from the Test Live forums seem to indicate the Dark Templar as the new mage killer class, with their excellent damage and mana draining abilities and a significant buff in their PVE tanking abilities as the magical damage tank. Some have even called the new Dark Templar over powered? This remains to be seen.
Quick Note: These patch notes are the first to arrive and could be changes dramatically over the next coming days or weeks. We should also be seeing some Conqueror changes in this patch cycle too.
